I vaguely mentioned this in my pitch which is why this question further developed my idea and helped me demonstrate it to the class. Arranging Dates for the next filming session

As our group has completed majority of the tasks myself and Cengi were trying to book the theatre for Thursday which was unsuccessful as its being used. However we've been told that we'll be allowed to use it during the half term but we have to book it with Gemma beforehand to make sure it is available. In addition we are currently finding it difficult to arrange a date as our performer has a busy schedule.

Filming Session 1- Cargo

Some of the shots from todays shoot in the cargo. We managed to take 32 shots for the first element of the music video and we believe that 32 shots is an ideal number as we'll be able to utilise the shots in terms of what we think will be appropriate for our music video. As this was the first day of filming our performers were maintaining their roles as performers but weren't as comfortable in conversing with us at the start. However this wasn't a problem towards the end as they started to share ideas towards the end.

Talent Release Form/ Project Authorisation

We have completed the talent release forms which now means that we are granted access in allowing the male performer to come to the college in order to film.

Discussions in class

In today's lesson Cengi and I were discussing the times for the location and how we are going to arrange the props over the days for the shoot. We were deciding what timings will be appropriate for all 3 of us and whether the artist will be able to arrive on the intended dates as she has a busy schedule aswell.

Team Meeting 2

We were struggling on finding an ideal location for our music video as we aren't given a budget to focus on and have to use the services that are provided to us so we decided as a group to shoot our music video in a nature friendly environment to stick to the theme of freedom and searching for an identity within the surroundings. Additionally because we are using a perfomance based idea we thought that the theatre room will be the most convenient location to use as it'll help the artist feel as if she's an actual performer and the music video will look more professional because she's in her environment.

We began by recording shots of the scenes that we would struggle the most in and to get a clear image of what equipment and camera techniques we'd have to use in order to help create a successful video. Whilst doing this task we acknowledged the difficulty involved in creating a music video and that it is a time consuming activity so it is vital to have a good structure/ layout of a storyboard and that there the times are spread out so that we have enough time to perfect each scene.
Through the video we can tell that if we want to record in a dark location we'll have to ensure that the actor is shown clearly and perhaps there should be lighting that focuses specifically on the actor to show the importance of her within her surroundings.
